We are a traditional Turku gymnastics club that has been moving Turku residents and residents of nearby municipalities since 1906. Everyone gets moving with us – regardless of skill level, age and fitness. For enthusiasts, we offer approximately 70 weekly hours of diverse group exercise, which our trained instructors lead in our own Energym Sports Center and in the gyms of Turku schools. In addition to adult and children's and youth hobby activities, TNV also offers more goal-oriented gymnastics and dance, with coaching. Exercising at TNV is versatile, easy and affordable. ELECTRONIC MEMBERSHIP SERVICE HOIKA
The electronic membership service acts as TNV's registration service and member register. You can register yourself for the service or we can do it for you. When you register, you will receive a username and password. With the credentials, you can log in to the service, where you can register for the season, sports groups (adult special groups and children & youth), create a membership fee and edit your own information.
You only need to register for the electronic membership service once, if you have already registered before, your username is still valid. If you have participated in our activities, but have not registered for the program yourself, we have done it for you and your information has already been entered in the member register. Your username is your own email address or First name Last name. If you have forgotten your password or do not know it, you can request it again from the 'Order a new password' section.
ADULTS & SENIORS
We offer high-quality adult group exercise classes for both beginners and more advanced exercisers. An adult exercise card can be purchased by anyone over the age of 15.
Comprehensive range of sports
The range of sports available for adults has expanded year by year. The range of sports is comprehensive and everyone can find a suitable sport in the curriculum. We are constantly renewing our adult sports and therefore, every spring and autumn, a few new sports are introduced alongside the long-standing favorites.
Sports nearby
You can do group sports in our high-quality Enegym facilities, at a few schools (Rieskalähde, Pääskyvuori) and at service centers (Ruusukortteli and certain parish halls). So whether your sport is dance, muscle fitness, a faster heart rate workout or a calmer yoga, you will find the hobby opportunities in our schedules. Please note that in the summer we only offer classes at Energym in Vähäheikkilä and outdoors (Paavo Nurmi Stadium).
Social relationships and positivity through exercise sessions
The goal of exercise activities aimed at seniors is to improve physical and mental fitness. This is achieved by improving muscle strength, joint mobility, balance, reaction time and the condition of the respiratory and circulatory systems. According to research, exercise sessions help maintain and create social relationships and exercise has positive effects on mood and self-confidence.
Safe senior exercise!
Seniors' classes use music that supports calm exercise and the starting positions are chosen in a joint-friendly way. The planning, teaching, repetitions and tempo of the movements support the achievement of the set goals.

After payment, you will receive a membership card and a season sticker. The membership card must have the correct color season sticker. The membership card serves as your entrance ticket to group exercise classes, and it must always be shown to the instructor at the start of the class. Registration for additional fee groups is always done through the electronic membership service.
So you can just come to TNV classes! If necessary, we will do everything for you in the Energym Fitness Center membership service.
FAMILY EXERCISE AND CHILDREN & YOUTH
Welcome to fun and safe children's sports! Everyone can participate in TNV's joyful classes. Classes are offered Monday-Friday, as well as courses on weekends, so it is easy to find a sports activity that every child enjoys and that fits into the family's schedule. The classes are designed based on children's physical development and the children are guided by trained adult instructors.
You can visit different classes to get to know the sports. You can visit all classes on the schedule, if the group is not already full. If you want to reserve a place, it is worth registering for the group. If your child does not want to continue the hobby, please let us know as soon as possible so that the place becomes available for the next person in line.
Registration takes place through the electronic membership information system Hoika. The guardian must have their own ID, under which the minor child will be a sub-user. Registration can also be canceled through the membership information system Hoika.
If you cancel your registration at Hoika, it is also beneficiary to also notify the TNV office about the matter so that the hobby fee invoice does not remain open in the system. Read more detailed cancellation conditions here.
NOTE! In the fall, registration is made for both the fall and spring seasons.
COACHING GROUPS (team gymnastics and dance)
Those interested in team gymnastics or dance groups can contact the group coaches directly and come and try out the training group's exercises after first agreeing with the coach. The coaches collect the necessary information from the training group members and report the group's composition to the club each season. The club automatically invoices the season fee in two installments. Coaching group members do not register for teams through the electronic membership service. Registration must still be completed. After that, team registration is done by the club.
Team gymnastics offers the opportunity to learn in a group and develop skills. Another important value is the joy and spirit of gymnastics. Team gymnastics combines art and sport, and the sport requires athletes to have physical qualities, good coordination and a sense of rhythm in addition to comprehensive sports skills. The sport supports, among other things: a child's or young person's group skills, responsibility and commitment to doing things together, the development of physical skills, growing into a sporty lifestyle, a sense of rhythm, expressiveness and working with the body, and receiving feedback.
The values of TNV team gymnastics are joy and spirit of togetherness, goal-orientedness, perseverance, safety and health, and above all, that everyone is met as themselves.
The goal of the Turku Women's Gymnastics Dance sector is to provide safe, long-term and high-quality coaching for dancers. Dance offers an opportunity to learn in a group and develop skills in the sport. We consider the joy of dance and movement and good teamwork to be the most important. Dance combines art and sport, and the sport requires athletes to have physical qualities, good coordination and a sense of rhythm in addition to comprehensive sports skills.
The values of TNV's dance teams are safety and health, individuality and reliability. The goal of our dance sector is to provide high-quality coaching, develop dancers' skills in a diverse way, inspire healthy and active lifestyles and provide a communal and safe hobby environment.
PRICE LIST
Sports fee
TNV adults pay a sports fee seasonally. The seasons are spring+summer, summer and autumn+Christmas exercises. Instead, family sports and children & youth classes use group-specific sports fees / autumn season and spring season from August to May.
Membership fee
In addition to the sports fee, a club membership fee is charged once a year. The membership fee is charged upon the first registration of the year.
Discount groups
There are discounts for certain groups. The discounts only apply to adult sports cards and are calculated from a valid regular-priced adult season ticket. Discounts cannot be combined. The discount does not apply to the club's annual membership fee.
Students can exercise at TNV at a lower price. With a valid student card, you can get a -20% discount on the adult season ticket. The discount does not apply to the club's annual membership fee.
People over 65 can exercise at TNV at a lower price. People over 65 get a -20% discount on the adult season ticket. The discount does not apply to the club's annual membership fee. The discount does not apply to the IKI store season ticket for people over 65.
We offer parents of children who exercise at TNV a -25€ discount on the adult season ticket. The discount does not apply to the club's annual membership fee.

Introduction and one-time fees
New gym members can take TNV classes for a one-time fee: Energym 12€/hour. Introduction and one-time fees are paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the class. or at the Energym member service point when the cashier is open. NOTE! You can only take one class for an introduction. TNV members can also take classes for a one-time fee if they wish: Energym 10€/hour NOTE! One-time fees do not apply to children's hobby groups
Payment methods
Energym accepts cash, payment cards, sports vouchers such as: Smartum and Tyky, SmartumPay, Edenred card, ePassi and EazyBreak. Remember that employer benefits cannot be used to pay for membership fees or children's hobbies!
Cancellation Policy
These cancellation policies are valid from 1.8.2024.
Non-payment does not constitute cancellation. A payment reminder will be sent to your email for unpaid invoices. A cancellation fee of 5 euros will be charged.
Cancellations can be made via the Hoika membership information system by clicking the trash can icon in front of the class name. You can also send an email to tnv@tnv.fi or koordinaattori@tnv.fi. If your email is not answered within a week (5 weekdays, with the exception of holidays), please resend the message or contact us by phone.
During the first week of the season, you can try out adult classes during the first week. You can visit children's classes twice before making a commitment decision. Children's classes can be attended if the group is not full, and you can also register for a class via the Hoikan membership information system. If your child does not continue with the class, please remember to notify the office so that the invoice can be removed. Pre-registration can be canceled after the first few times of the season.
Registration with a 10x-card can be canceled if the card has not yet been picked up. A cancellation fee of 5 euros will be charged.
If you want to move the due date of your invoice, please contact the office.
Cancellation during the season/course against a medical certificate:
In all cancellation situations, we primarily aim to compensate for the missed lessons in future with forthcoming hobby fees. We will refund the part of the season or course fee for the unused lessons against a medical certificate, if the possibility of reimbursement is excluded. In other cases, for cancellations made during the season, a maximum of 50% of the season and course fee for the unused lessons will be refunded. Season and course fees will not be refunded for individual or a few weeks of cancellation. Note - refunds only apply to cancellations of more than 4 weeks in a row.
An office fee of 10 euros will always be deducted from refunds. Membership fees are not refunded.
Season or course fees paid with employer benefits such as Smartum balance, Edenred, ePassi or for children the Boostii-benefit will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.
The person making the cancellation must contact the club office by email or phone if they want a refund. Each cancellation and refund is processed separately.
Cancellation terms for children's camps of the Turku Naisvoimistelijat ry
Before the end of the registration period, the camp can be cancelled free of charge. After the end of the registration period, we will charge 25% of the camp fee. We will refund the entire camp price against a medical certificate. If the child becomes ill during the camp, we will refund the remaining part of the camp fee, minus 5 euros in office costs, against a medical certificate.
In addition to sports services, Turku Naisvoimistelijat also produces various programmatic events at Energym and rents out facilities to event organizers.
Space rental and program services
Energym Sports Center offers a great setting for various wellness, sports and training events and camps. Our space is also suitable for parties and meetings. Our facilities are rented mainly on weekdays in the morning and afternoon, as well as on weekends. You can rent the entire Sports Center, one or more of our gyms.

Children's Birthdays
We organize guided birthday parties on Saturdays for children aged 5-10 at TNV's own sports center at Energym.
At the trick track & play umbrella birthday parties, you play, have fun on the trick track and get to know different sports equipment with the guidance of an instructor in Energym's Satumaa hall. At the dance birthday parties, you get to know different types of dance and basic movements with good music and a happy atmosphere under the guidance of a dance coach. The party can accommodate 15 participants. The price of the package is €150 (not including accident insurance).

Program Services
Sports Centre Energym can be used to organize for example a bachelor party, a mini-Christmas party, etc. or a similar group event. The program duration of 1.5-2 hours includes instruction in the exercise of your choice from our wide range of sports. Our professional instructors conduct Zumba, power training, Pilates, or, for example, sound bowl relaxation or Kangoo Jumps training.
Depending on the sport, the maximum number of people is approximately 15-20 people. Prices start at 150€. We organize various exercise classes or courses, from individual classes to regular courses or even all-day / weekend-long events. We can organize a bachelor party program or a fun day according to your wishes. We can tailor the exercise service to suit you. Ask for more!
